Our veggies are the main focus here at Peas Out Farms and what we spend most of our time working on. The types of veggies we grow change as we experiment and learn what works and what doesn't each year.

How great would it be to be able to pick something fresh, green and nutrient-dense in the middle of winter? Our micro-greens offer us the chance to do just that! They're great in salads, burgers, sandwiches and smoothies.

The herbs we grow also change each year as we talk more to our customers and hear from them on what they're looking for. In 2017, dill seemed to be on everyone's mind so it may be on the menu for 2018!

Our Focus

We are a market garden farm with a focus on promoting ecological and human health. We absolutely love that we're able to provide people with spray-free produce. We work with our customers to set up deliveries, as well as visit several local farmers markets in the Morden, Carman and Winnipeg areas.

We've become known in the area as the "micro-greens" farm since there aren't many producers in our area. Micro-greens are nutrient and flavor packed mini versions of full grown vegetables.

In the short time we've been in business, we haven't just grown veggies; we're also growing and nurturing partnerships with other businesses in the area. This includes The Olive Tree, a local restaurant in Morden, a Registered Nutritional Therapist (RNT), Sonia Funk, of The Whole Avocado based in Morden, and Border Hills Honey, a local Southern Manitoba honey producer. We're definitely open to starting up partnerships with other local businesses so PEAS get in touch!
